Bios Hong Sang Hwa is a novelist born in Korea in 1940. Besides writing novels and essays, Hong has contributed columns to major newspapers and written a screenplay. He also wrote a serial story ‘Age of Bubble’ for Chosun Ilbo from 1993~1994. Hong started his career as a writer by publishing a full-length novel ‘Blood and Fire’ in 1989, which was later and translated/published in Japan and also was made into a film. Hong received a distinguished literary award, the 12th Isu Literature Prize in 2005 with his novel ‘Camellia’. Hong taught Korean Literature as an adjunct professor at Incheon University in Korea from 2001 to 2005. Profile of HongSangHwa
